Whether finding a family temporarily through foster care or permanently through adoption, when a child finds a safe and loving home before they turn 18, it changes their longterm outcome and experiences - becoming less likely to experience heartbreaking issues like suicide, human trafficking, incarceration, and homelessness.
On average, 23,000 kids age out of the foster care system in America every year when they turn 18. To date, Tennessee Kids Belong has captured ad uplifted the voices of over 1,225 children in our state, who are actively looking for a family, and around 50% of those children have found safe and loving homes.
